This year we went to Royal Air Force Halton located between the Vale of Aylesbury and the Chilter Hills in Buckinghamshire. The station was the weekend retreat of Henry Rothschild and was donated to the RAF during the First World War. The station now is used for the training of new recruits entering as airman and women in the Royal Air Force. The basic trades are suppliers, catering, police and administrators. |

During the camp the cadets visit to the Police Dog Section during which the cadets were shown the reason for tracking with the dog in a harness and a practical demonstation in hostile crowd control. |

Above cadets are using the local woods to do a map reading and orienteering competition. The cadet were in groups of six and there was a team of staff at the rear as a sweep team just in case a team gets lost. |

During the camp the cadet did Air Experience Flying at RAF Benson the pilots were part of 6 AEF and the aircraft were Tutors. |

One of the other activities we did at camp was No8 .22 and L98 target shooting but before the cadets can fire on the rank they have to under go some basic weapon training as you can see in the photo on the right. |

Once the training is complete and the cadets have copleted a Weapon Handling Test. They now have ago on the range under the watchful eye of a Qualifide Range Officer. The cadet are trying to get one of the follow badges, Sqn. Marksman, Wing Marksman, Reg. Marksman or Corp Marksman. At this camp we got several Sqn and Reg Marksman. |

| The cadets also visited the RAF Museum at Uxbridge and Hendon, the cadets had a great time there and are looing forward to going to camp next year. |
